Simulated Milk Paint was originally formulated using
commonly available natural ingredients. Some of these recipes included
lamp black, berries, or dried plants for pigments and buttermilk for the
binder. These special formulas recommended for interior use only
produced colors unmatched, even today. Their subtle, muted qualities
have always set the standard for achieving the most authentic color
tones. Olde Century Colors brings you the same natural characteristics
and has added the convenience of pre-mixed formula.
Application of our simulated Milk
Paint is as easy as our fine latex paints. Drying time is within one
hour, leaving a durable matte finish. You have a finish best
replicating, some of the finest examples of Early American furniture and
architecture. it can be used on wall, trim, reproduction furniture~
crafts, stenciling and decorative painting. To get a stained effect on
new wood, water can be added to' any of the I colors, to make. a',
thinner consistency. Also excellent, to use with the crackle. Clean up
with soap and water. |
